In September 2024, Taste of India celebrated the festival of Onam at Layola College, Bundoora. Onam is a festival that beautifully encapsulates the cultural ethos of Kerala. People come together, overcoming any religious barriers, to celebrate the harvest, the myth of King Mahabali, and the enduring spirit of unity and prosperity.

TOI was proud to feature a special Mahabali entrance along with Chenda Melam, plus a traditional Thiruvaathirakali dance by our local talented ladies.
